FAQ

When we say "natural flavor," we mean it. For our Superfood and Supershield Boosties, we use only pure fruit extracts for flavoring—lemon, strawberry, blackberry, black raspberry, and cherry extracts. These extracts are made fresh for every batch, with no preservatives added. While this does increase the cost of making the gummies, we were adamant about using only the purest ingredients, ensuring that what goes into our products is as clean and natural as possible.

When we say "natural color," we mean it. For both our Superfood and Supershield Boosties, we use red radish extract to give the gummies a beautiful, vibrant color. The rest of the color comes from the active ingredients themselves, like the natural hues from the fruits and other plant-based ingredients.

Our gummies are sweetened with a blend of allulose, tapioca fiber, and pure monk fruit extract, making them sugar-free while still delicious. Allulose is a naturally sourced sweetener found in fruits like figs and raisins. It’s also a prebiotic, supporting gut health. We use only the highest quality pure monk fruit extract, without any sugar alcohols like erythritol, which are often found in lower-quality versions and can cause gut dysbiosis. Tapioca fiber syrup is a gentle, natural sweetener that helps keep blood sugar levels in check.

They are not. There are emerging studies on sugar alcohols that indicate potential gut-related issues. We were not willing to take this risk with our children. These issues included gut microbiome disruption, increased gas production and bloating, osmotic effects which can lead to diarrhea, and potential for irritable bowel syndrome symptoms. Some studies are even suggesting sugar alcohols may reduce the absorption of nutrients in the intestine, which totally defeats the purpose of a supplement!

Absolutely! Kids can take both the Superfood and Supershield Boosties. They were designed specifically to complement each other. So they work great together, or if preferred, separately. Each formula offers unique benefits that, when combined, provide comprehensive support for your child’s health. We are all about parents having choices!

In our gummy-making process, we take special care to preserve the live probiotic. While heat is used in the gummy-making process, we add the probiotic at the end, once the temperature has cooled down enough to protect it from being killed. Many products don’t follow this approach, which means their probiotics often don’t survive the manufacturing process. Our method ensures that the probiotic remains active and effective by the time it reaches your child.

Our omega source is Ahi flower oil, which comes from the seeds of the Ahi flower plant. It’s a plant-based oil rich in omega-3 fatty acids, particularly DHA and EPA, which are important for children's brain development, cognitive function, and eye health. Ahi flower oil is a great alternative to fish oil because it’s sustainably sourced, vegan, and non-GMO. Its much milder flavor makes it more appealing for kids, while still providing the essential omega-3s they need for healthy growth.

Our Supershield Boostie is vegan. For the Superfood Boostie, while the omega source in our gummies is plant-based (Ahi flower oil), we do use hydrolyzed bovine collagen in our active blend, making the gummies not strictly vegan. We chose to include hydrolyzed bovine collagen because it supports joint health, skin elasticity, and aids digestion by soothing the gut.

Absolutely! We knew that even if we created the most innovative, groundbreaking gummy, it would all come down to flavor. That’s why we conducted multiple rounds of extensive taste testing with some of the pickiest eaters we could find, to ensure it met their standards. We’re happy to report that picky eaters are loving Little Boosties, and it’s become a favorite in households where taste is everything!

Yes! We are proud to report that our products have passed rigorous third-party testing to meet Prop 65 standards for heavy metals like lead, mercury, arsenic and cadmium. This means that your kids are getting gummies that are clean, safe, and toxin free. All of our third party testing is conducted at Cambium Analytica.
